Who We AreEstablished in 2000, The Association of Independent Music Teachers at Alberta College (AIMTAC) is the advocative body within The Conservatory of Music at MacEwan University that works with administration to address the needs and interests of its members. Respecting the Conservatory’s long and distinguished history, the Association promotes a collegial environment conducive to an exceptional music teaching and learning experience.
Our Accomplishments• An annual Benefit Concert to raise scholarship funding for Conservatory students
• Donation of scholarships to the Conservatory Fall Festival • Professional Development workshops • Record and print music sales to raise scholarship funding • Teacher contracts for classes and ensembles • Better building hours and security • Annual Christmas lunch and other socials for our members |
